CHARITY FOR DECEMBER WIRRAL STREET PASTORS Things have moved on enormously and we are now in the training phase. 18 of us are preparing to go out onto Birkenhead town centre streets every Friday night between 10pm and 3am. We will go out in teams of four or five on a monthly rota basis. Wirral Street Pastor patrols have started from Friday 9th December. Your prayers and support for this project will be very welcome. Our aim is to be good Samaritans to our neighbours, in the hope that our presence will have a positive influence on our streets. We need to raise the region of £5000 per year, which covers training, equipment, insurance, uniforms, etc…
Many thanks in advance of your support. Deacon Steve Peck, 651 2506, 07891 522391. |
